Katrina Mena Rick was born and raised in Miami, Florida . She is a classically trained vocalist who specializes in contemporary styling. Having started her career at the age of 8 with the Miami Childrens Chorus, Katrina has sang on countless stages throughout Florida, the United States and Brazil.

A graduate of New World School of the Arts, she holds a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Music and Jazz Performance from the prestigious University of Miami’s Frost School of Music. Her passions led her to study abroad in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. There she  performed with the Puppa Santana Jazz Ensemble throughout the region. Katrina has held several residencies as a radio DJ, vocal coach, theater teacher, music director, jazz vocalist and singer/songwriter.

She sings and speaks in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
